This is Loren's favorite part. Just barely warm enough.

Fun in the Murase fountains at Memorial Park.

Arielnell, his "girlfriend". Where is your nose?

I think I can. I know I can. I'm a bit nervous.

Fir Point farm.

Cute and determined. Do you like lemons?

Amusing the adults at Claim Jumper.

He ain't heavy, He's my grandson.

Keith and Ashton have a deep conversation.

Ariel sporting her orange bellbottoms inherited from Kelly.

Susan and her grandson enjoying Yogos.

Ashton likes to be like and do things with Loren.

We had a fun time at Fir Point Farms. Here we are in the nut house.

Ashton's great Grandma Cochrun treated us to dinner at one of her favorite restuarants, Claim Jumper.

Keith and his grandson really bonded. Ashton loved "flying and playing with grandpa.

As a GRADUATION celebration, We sprung for pedicures for Arielle, Ariel, Susan, Kelly and Sarah. It was a relaxing bonding time.

AWESOME ARIEL

A Booster Club scholarship winner! Hillary and Ariel go to rehearsal breakfast and then hug at the end! Awwww. She also got a 5 in the AP Calc test! Way to go!!!

We all gather to celebrate and more hugs.
The family, including Loren, Kelly and Ashton. Jake is there with a hug. Ali and Sarah come too.
Arielle and Roland will help with the college transition. Leads to a bright future.
The storms pass and the skies clear all is well.
Ariel went to the all night grad party, complete with "sumo wrestling", karaoke, prizes and more. She came home with $100 package from the Container store. Friends and family were very generous. Thanks to all. Here is her planner from Kelly and Sarah. Now it is on to OSU.

What's been happening April/May 2009

Roland and Derek went to compete in the Emerald Cup in Bellevue, Washington. Roland placed third and Derek, 6th. It was an exciting time with many friends cheering him on. About a month later he competed in the Oregon Ironman at Chinook Winds in Lincoln City.

Having entered the Junior men and the Novice men, it was exciting to hear that he won 1st Place in the Junior category. Then he won 1st place in the Novice under 174 weight. Having won a first place, was judged again in the overall and ....yep, he took the overall championship for Novice men. We were all so happy for him. Now he is taking some time off before the next competition.

Where are we going to put three more trophies???
