Awesome Day
Ariel knows how I am partial to Saddle Mountain. I first climbed it in 1972. So, she suggested we do it for spring break. This is my 6th and possibly final time.
The trail is showing its wear and wearing on me. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. You can see the coast and Cascade mountains (Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, ....Mt Hood.).

We made it. What a view!
It is a long way down--only 3 miles.
After we made it back down we drove to Camp 18 for soup and a cinnamon roll to go. Ariel spent quality time with me here and she had a special shopping day with dad. She also had movie nights with us.
